TXM SPF-1/2 1/2" Super Flexible 50 Ohm Coax Cable

TXM Brand SPF-1/2 loss 50 ohm coaxial cable. The TXM SPF-1/2 is a Commscope Heliax FSJ4-50B equivalent, and rises to the task of providing superior quality and maximum flexibility. The SPF-1/2C 50 ohm black polyethylene jacketed cable features a helical corrugated copper tube outer conductor, and a copper clad aluminum wire inner conductor.

1/2 Superflex coax

I much prefer this kind of corrugated coax over the LMR 600 dual shield, low-loss cables. First of all, it is very flexible, but not so flexible that it kinks when you are trying to do a pull by yourself. It can bend through any normal install, but isn’t subject to the movement between the two shields that can cause problems; say in direct sun or a non-ideal bridge between supports. Great customer service- very fast and responsive!

Nice alternative to the brand name cable. I did a basic loss test with a spectrum analyzer/TG combo, and the cable performance is will within specifications.

Pleased to have quickly received a custom ordered length with N-connectors, which included complimentary shrink wrapping, for less than half the price of Heliax FSJ4-50B.
