Opti-Tap and Opti-Tip Cables
TXM is now offering Opti-Taps and Opti-Tips to our customers. The Opti-Tip and Opti-Tap fiber cable assemblies are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Opti-Tap is a fiber connectivity system used in outside plant (OSP) applications for delivering fiber-to- the-premises or -home (FTTx or FTTH, respectively). The Opti-Tip connector is a hardened array connector designed to provide rapid connectivity (for two, four, six, eight, or 12 fibers) in a durable, easy- to-install design. The Corning connectors make installation quick and easy, as well as watertight and weatherproof. Factory installation and testing insures reliable, low optical loss in all fibers. The cables have up to 24 fibers in a 3mm jacket with a 400lb crush resistance for durability. Because we assemble the cables in house, we will be able to create custom lengths with the needed connectors.
